Recent Work

m Sleeping With the Anemones: an exhibition of altered books and related objects. I like to work with what is discarded as a conduit to the unknown. Found objects elicit memories of what has been cast out of everyday identity. Matter itself is awkward for me, so working with matter becomes a kind of trial and ends up by inviting psyche.... I try to be open to whatever comes up in my work, to trick my ego into staying out, to pay attention to the words and images that appear at the periphery of my brain, and to practice non-interference. My work is touched by a feeling of transcience. It embodies a search for beauty in what is ephemeral, impermanent and incomplete. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm Redford, A Marked Dog, coming here. NEXT.
